Tour to  the old City in Jerusalem

 

Today we visit the ancient city of Jerusalem. We start our tour enjoying  a panoramic view from the Mount of Olives, overlooking the walls of the old city and the Kidron valley.we start to walk down to the Church of All Nations at the Garden of Gethsemane where we see the ancient Olive trees  and imagine Jesus praying there before his arrest.  Our next stop will be at the beautiful  Mount Zion to see the tomb of King David and the nearby Room of the Last Supper (Luke 22).

Next we walk through the Cardo, the main street of Jerusalem 2000 years ago. Visit the Temple Mount and the Western Wall. Walk along the Via Dolorosa, where Jesus carried His Cross. Continue to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (Matthew 27, Matthew 33:57). We then will enjoy a blessed holy Communion service at the Garden tomb where our Lord Jesu was buried. We end the day doing some last minute shopping in Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem

Tour to the New City of Jerusalem and Bethlehem
 

After breakfast, we visit the model of ancient Jerusalem. Continue to Yad Vashem, Israel’s memorial to the victims of the Holocaust. Enter the site by walking along the Street of the Righteous Gentiles, dedicated to the non-Jews that risked their lives in order to save their Jewish neighbors. Continue to Ein Karem, the birthplace of John the Baptists (Luke 1:57-80). This Spanish-style church and Mary’s well is where Mother Mary met her cousin Elizabeth. Proceed to Bethlehem  to visit the Church of the Nativity. Overnight in Jerusalem

Tour to Qumran, Dead Sea and Masada
 

Drive through the Judean Desert to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls where found in 1947 by a Bedouin boy. Visit the ancient city of Qumran and drive along the shore of the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, to Massada, the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple. In 70 A.D. Ascend Massada by cable car and visit the food storeroom, water irrigation system and Herod’s Palace. Descend Massada time and weather permitting float on the Dead Sea. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight. Overnight Dead Sea   

Tour to Tiberias , Capernaum and  Banias falls
 

After a short tour of the Kibbutz grounds, we take a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum (Matthew 4:13, Matthew 13:54, Matthew 17:24, Luke 7, Mark 1:2, John 4:46, John 4:54). Visit the remains of the 2nd century synagogue. Proceed to Tabgha (Matthew 13, Mark 33, Mark 45, John 21), the site of the miracle of fish and loaves, and visit the Church of Multiplication with its 4th century mosaic floor. Continue to the Mount of the Beatitudes (Matthew 5, Matthew 6, Matthew 7, Matthew 8), where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Drive to the Banias Spring and Waterfall (Matthew 16:13, Mark 8:27), where Jesus was recognized as The Messiah by His Disciples. Tour the Golan Heights with its valleys, grazing land, and snowcapped mountains. Return to Kibbutz Lavi for dinner and overnight. Overnight Tiberias

Tour to Caesarea, Megiddo  Haifa and Acre
 

After breakfast, we drive along the coastal plain to Caesarea (Acts 9.30 Acts 10 24-48), the capital of Judea under the Romans. Visit the excavations of this ancient city, the Roman theatre, and an aqueduct. Continue to Megiddo (1 Kings 4.28, 9,15, 2 Kings 23,29 & Revel. 16.16), identified as the site of Armageddon. Visit the archaeological excavations at Megiddo, including the well-preserved water supply system. Drive to the beautiful port city of Haifa, nestled on the Mediterranean Sea. Visit the world-famous Persian Gardens at the Bahai Temple. Drive from Haifa to Acre (Micah 1.10), capital of the Crusaders for more than a century. Visit the ancient city and harbor before continuing eastwards across the plains of the Galilee to Kibbutz hotel Lavi, not far from the Sea Of Galilee. Evening lecture by one of the Kibbutz members about life in a Kibbutz. Dinner and overnight

Day Tour to Bethlehem

 

After breakfast, we visit the  Church of the Nativity in  Bethlehem a  World Heritage Site and Christian holy site that's believed to stand over the cave where Jesus Christ was born. Next we visit the holy site of Milk Grotto, a shrine in a cave where it is believed Mary stopped to nurse baby Jesus, while trying to escape Herod’s soldiers. Supposedly, a drop of milk fell on the limestone rocks while she was breastfeeding, turning the cave a pearly white color. and the Shepherds’ Field, later visit local market and then end day with some shopping for Olive wood gifts from the Holy Land.

The Cave of Machpelah (Cave of patriarchs)

According to the bible, Abraham insisted on purchasing the piece of field of Efron Hachiti and not accepting it as a present, and eventually, he would bury there his wife Sarah, and ever since that time the cave turned into the burial site of the Patriarchs. We will talk about the unique character of Abraham, the first believer, visit the building of the Cave of Machpela, the most ancient public structure in the world that is still in service, see the tombstones and graves of the nation’s patriarchs and hear about the rich history of the place and traditions linking the place to the entrance of heaven and the grave of Adam and Eve, and more.

Day Tour to Nazareth

 

Drive to Cana to visit the Wedding Church, where Jesus performed his first miracle turning water into wine. At the church of Cana, you also have the opportunity to renew your wedding vows. We then visit  the Church of Annunciation, Joseph’s workshop and Mary’s well. Time for some shopping before we return to our hotel in Tiberias
